Note: I only moved on character because I only have one character I’m not 100% sure if this works with more than one character. Cross-save functionality lets players transfer saves from Xbox 360, PS3, and PS Vita into next-gen consoles, along with leveled-up characters, Badass Rank, and everything they gained before.

From there you need to find the last save file of the character you want to move, click on it, and the option to move it should show up under copy, click on move then select your cloud(if it says it already exists on your cloud click replace) then go on your Xbox One and load up the backwards compat version of BL2 and you’ll get a pop up that says the saves don’t sync between consoles click on the option that says you last played on another console and it should start downloading your data/character and you’re done. I have been thinking about this for a while, and what i came up with, is upload your gamer profile from MSL, then just download the DLC onto the new console.
From there click on games & apps and find Borderlands 2. To get it to work on your 360 you have to go to your settings then go to your storage devices and click on your hard drive. All DLC and other digital games work fine, just not this one.
If you’re trying to do this with the backwards compatible version of BL2 the uploading/downloading character thing won’t work. It frustrated me so bad rage took over and I threw my xbox in to a wall.
